MILFORD United got back to winning ways in Division 2 on Saturday (Mar 4) as they beat Johnston 5-0.
There were also wins for Tenby and Narberth while Monkton Swifts seconds beat rivals Pennar Robins seconds 7-1.
MIlford had been beaten by Tenby last week but provided the perfect reponse on Saturday to close the gap at the top of the table to just one point.
Liam Parr opened the scoring in the 26th minute and he then doubled the lead on the stroke of half time with a penalty.
He completed his hat trick three minutes into the second half and further goals followed from Liam Parks and Ieuan Hawkins.
Tenby earned their second win in a row on Saturday as they also won 5-0 against Broad Haven.
Chris Millward opened the scoring in the second minute and Scott Ferney doubled the lead with half time approaching. Sam Butler made it three early in the second half before Ferney scored two late goals to complete his hat trick, the second coming from the penalty spot.
The win for Tenby lifts them into fifth place, and they now site five points behind Herbrandston, on whom they have three games in hand.
Narberth continued their climb up the table following their fourth straight league win. They beat Carew seconds 3-1 and now find themselves two points behind ninth placed Carew.
Jordan Williams scored two goals in the first half but both sides were reduced to ten early in the second half following two red cards.
Williams completed his hat trick late on before Harvey Langston scored a consolation goal for Carew.
The other game in Division 2 saw Monkton Swifts seconds beat Pennar Robins seconds 7-1 at Bush Camp.
Connor Hay scored five goals for the Swifts with Harry Turner and Josh Sture also scoring. Dylan Kidd scored Pennar’s goal.
