Division 3: Cosheston seal league title

COSHESTON secured the Division 3 title on Saturday (Apr 15) and promotion to Division 2.

Cosh beat Fishguard seconds 9-3 to earn their nineteenth win of the season. William Davis scored a hat trick for Cosh while Nathan Ferrier and Josh Dearsley both scored twice.

Simon Lewis and Cameron Brunton also scored as Cosh completed an excellent season with 57 points to their name.

Conner Worrall scored Fishguard’s three goals but they proved to be consolation efforts.

Camrose sit in second place after they beat St Florence United 2-1. Jordan Raymond put Camrose ahead and Dan Llewellyn doubled the lead in the second half.

Michael Davies pulled a goal back for the Saints but Camrose held on to seal the win.

It leaves Camrose on the brink of promotion but they could still be caught by fourth placed Lawrenny, who sit three points behind and with a better goal difference.

Should Camrose lose their final game against Clarbeston Road seconds, a win for Lawrenny in their game against St Florence could see them go up instead.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Pendine earned a 1-0 win away at Letterston thanks to a goal from Callum Syddall.

Pembroke Boro were also victorious on Saturday as they beat Milford Athletic 7-1.

Rhys Higgins put Athletic ahead early on but four goals from Liam Topp helped the Boro turn the game around. Other goals came from Sean Kettle, Rob McNaughton and William Wallace.
