TENBY’s Ysgol Greenhill football team is looking for funding ahead of an international tournament taking place in May.

In 2022, the school’s Year 8 team won the Under 13 Welsh Cup final after a penalty shootout win and the team will now be representing Wales at a National Tournament.

The Allen McKinstry Cup, organised by the Schools’ Association Football International Board, will feature teams from England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.

The tournament will be held at Athlone Town FC in Ireland.

The team has been working hard to fundraise towards their travel, accommodation and new kit.

A GoFundMe page has been set up and has so far seen £355 raised towards its £5,000 goal.
