Kilgetty earn a point against Fishguard

KILGETTY and Fishguard could not be separated on Saturday (Dec 3) as their Division 1 game finished 3-3.

Richard Cope put Kilgetty ahead in just the fourth minute but two goals in as many minutes from Luke Thomas turned the game around.

That gave Fishguard a 2-1 lead at the break but fifteen minutes into the second half Kilgetty equalised with a goal from Lloyd Hughes.

Fishguard then regained the lead in the 71st minute courtesy of Sean Seymour-Davies and they would have hoped to have held on to their lead.

However, Kilgetty hit back again and were level with nine minutes to go thanks to Richard Cope’s second goal of the game.

With the score now tied both sides went in search of a winner but it didn’t come and both had to settle for a share of the points.
