Narberth celebrate long-serving players

NARBERTH celebrated two of its long serving players on Saturday (Apr 1) following their WRU Championship win over Cardiff Met.

The Club celebrated the 300th league games for Alex Jenkins and 100th league games for Bradley Davies. Alex made his debut for Narberth in the 2007/8 season in the away game at Merthyr, which Narberth won 26-29.

Alex, who also has been club captain for a time, is a supporters’ favourite, having been one of the clubs best players over his time with the club.

Alex was presented with an engraved watch from the Supporters’ Club by Wendy Rossiter, Supporters’ Club Secretary. Supporters’ Club Chairman Peter John also presented Leila, Alex’s Partner, with some flowers for all her support to Alex.

Bradley Davies was presented an engraved glass trophy on his 100th League game for Narberth RFC from Supporters’ Club member Sally Morris.

Both Alex and Bradley give their best for Narberth RFC on and off the pitch giving time to supporters who enjoy the company of the players.

The Supporters wish them both the very best in their future time with the club and hope it is for many years to come.
