Neyland’s Men’s Shed assist with installation of new clock

A COLLABORATION between Neyland Town Council, Bethesda Baptist Church and Neyland Men’s Shed has resulted in a new town clock being placed on the church in the High Street.

Several shedders were on hand to help install the new clock. A cherry picker was used for safety and to get the clock in position.

This was a project the Neyland Men’s Shed took on last year, crafting the outer case from marine ply to withstand the weather while utilising the clock from the council.

If you would like to learn more about the Men’s Shed and the facilities on offer, why not call in on a Wednesday or Saturday mornings between 10.00am and 2.00pm for a chat and cuppa!

Full Shed membership is open to all, with associate membership for those under 18 and above 14 years. The subscription cost is only £12 per year and £1 per session (mainly for tea and biscuit kitty!).
