Saundersfoot sit second after beating Llangwm

SAUNDERSFOOT earned their second win of the season on Saturday (May 6) as they beat Llangwm by eight wickets.

Saundersfoot had won the toss and chose to bowl first, giving last season’s runners up Llangwm the chance to set a score.

There were scores of 39 from Steve Inward and 40 from Noah Davies before David Lewis finished unbeaten on 24.

Jack Franklin was the pick of the bowlers for the home side as he finished with figures of 3-12. Neil Powling also bowled well, taking 2-44 while Tudor Hurle had 1-20.

In reply, Tom Mansbridge fell on 15 and Danny Caine scored 45 before he was sent back. Chris Inward (1-34) and Noah Davies (1-35) picked up the wickets but that was as good as it got for the visitors.

Sam Franklin finished unbeaten on 64 while John Mansbridge was not out on 44 as they steered their side to victory.
