During last night’s Eurovision Song Contest Qualifiers, Swedish entry Loreen featured two of the entrants favourite places, one of which being St Catherine’s Island in Tenby.
St Catherine’s Island shared their joy on Facebook, posting: “So excited this morning!!
“Last night we were featured on the Eurovision Song Contest Qualifiers!! The Swedish entry said that we were their favourite place to visit!! Woohoo!
“They did qualify so we may even be shown on the main event on Saturday….. fingers crossed.”
The singer-songwriter is representing Sweden in Eurovision 2023 with her song Tattoo.
Loreen was crowned the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with her song ‘Euphoria’.
Sweden have passed the qualifier round and will appear at the final, alongside the United Kingdom and last year’s winner – Ukraine.
The Eurovision 2023 final will commence on Saturday, May 14. It will be available on BBC1 and iPlayer.
