ST Ishmaels and Neyland played out a 1-1 draw in their Division 1 game on Saturday (Dec 17).
The draw ends a run of five defeats in all competitions for Neyland while for Tish it was their first drawn game this season.
The point leaves both sides in tenth and eleventh places in the Division 1 table but Neyland have played four games less.
It had been a fairly even first period but the Nomads then got on top with the slope and wind in their favour on what was a heavy pitch following the recent bad weather.
Fletcher Picton scored on his debut in the 55th minute after coming on as a substitute a few minutes earlier.
However, a defensive mistake allowed Joel Morgan to equalise with ten minutes to go. Both sides battled for a winner late on but they could not find and both would have to settle for a point.
Fixtures are set to resume on Saturday, January 7, 2023.
