Can you help to reunite Georgie with his devastated owner?

ANIMAL SEARCH UK’s Missing Pet Search Team were out Saturday, (Jan 1) in Mumbles, SA34 on the hunt for the missing cat Georgie. Georgie is a Tonkinese cat. He is a very timid but loving cat and constant companion to his big sister Mia. Georgie is microchipped and neutered. He has not been seen since Monday (Dec 23) 2024, after the front door was left open. He is an indoor only cat and hasn’t
experienced the outdoors before.

Georgie’s distraught owners said: “I have had both cats from kittens and they share the same mother. Georgie joined the
family 2 years after Mia as she was suffering from separation anxiety and crying when I left the house. Mia is missing him dreadfully and is constantly crying for him. They love to spend all afternoon curled up together in the room where I work from home and also love to play fight together. Mia has a little heart murmur so I’m worried how this is affecting her. Georgie has dog like characteristics in that he loves to trot by my side when I walk through the house. He’s a very sweet gentle soul who wouldn’t hurt anyone.”

Alisha Turner from the Media Team and Animal Search Headquarters said; “Georgie is an indoor cat, so he likely hasn’t gone far. We believe he’s probably scared and hiding somewhere within the local community. We’re kindly asking residents to stay vigilant
over the next few days and check any video footage from doorbell cameras or CCTV that may have captured him”
