THE NATION’S best Rock ’n’ Roll variety show is returning to Pembrokeshire in October 2023, featuring their new Autumn Show.
The famous and very much-loved “That’ll Be The Day” is being performed at the Follies Theatre, Folly Farm, on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October 2023. The show will be full of Rock ‘n’ Roll music from the ’50s, 60s and up to the present day – with the usual element of humorous interludes!
2023 sees the return of “That’ll Be The Day” for the 16th year at Folly Farm and the Friday night’s show will be their 34th appearance.
In those years, the event has raised the staggering sum of £142,700 for various charities, including Wales Air Ambulance, the Rotary Clubs of Milford Haven, Narberth and Whitland, the RNLI and the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home, which is the chosen charity again this year.
Event organiser, Phil Thompson MBE, said: “It is great to have That’ll Be The Day returning to Folly Farm for two wonderful nights of entertainment, hopefully to sell-out audiences as we did last October, whilst raising money for charity in the process.”
Folly Farm has once again supplied the venue. Gareth Morris, Marketing Officer, said: “Folly Farm is once again proud to support Phil Thompson and the That’ll Be The Day team as they bring their unique blend of foot-tapping music and side-splitting humour to the Follies Theatre stage, for another memorable evening of quality entertainment.”
The event is also pleased to have the Milford Haven Port Authority as Community Sponsor’s, Mojo Marketing and Pure West Radio as Marketing and Media sponsors.
Tickets are £25 and are available from the Paul Sartori Foundation website: www.paulsartori.org/events/ or by calling them on 01437 763223. They are also available in Rock ’n’ Rolla Boutique, Narberth, Dales Music Shop, Tenby and the Paul Sartori stores in Pembroke and Milford Haven.
Paul Sartori Hospice at Home provides a range of services to Pembrokeshire people living in the final stages of a life-limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.
The services provided by the Paul Sartori Hospice at Home enable people in the later stages of any life-limiting illness to be cared for and to die at home with dignity, independence, pain free and surrounded by those they hold most dear, if that is their wish.
All of the services are free of charge and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, thanks to the generosity of the Pembrokeshire Community.
