New money MOT – free support to master your finances for people aged 50+ in Powys

WOULD you like to improve your workplace numeracy skills, plan for retirement, increase your financial security, or just feel more confident with numbers? Age Cymru Powys can help you achieve your goals. 

The Money MOT is a new service to help you take control of your money matters and improve your financial skills.

Age Cymru Powys will help you assess your current financial situation and plan for the future. Your personalised report will tell you what to prioritise and offer guidance on how to improve your financial wellbeing from midlife through to retirement.

The charity is offering fun group courses across Powys on money management topics including numeracy skills for:

• Maximising income

• Reducing expenses

• Budgeting

• Comparing prices

• In the workplace

• Using technology

Also on offer are Bitesize Drop-in Workshops and 1:1 support, including at your home if you’re unable to attend a course. No IT experience or equipment is required.

“With the current Cost-of-Living Crisis, many people are worried about their finances. We are ‘ON YOUR SIDE’ to increase your financial wellbeing with fun, friendly support in the way that suits you best.
