BRYN TANAT Wellness Spa in Mid Wales has announced a new partnership with Rhug Wild Beauty.

The Llansantffraid-based business has become the first spa in the UK to offer professional facial treatments using the acclaimed organic skincare brand developed on the Rhug Estate in North Wales.

Just a hop over the Berwyns, this collaboration unites two family-owned Welsh destinations renowned for their commitment to sustainability, quality and nature-led experiences. It marks a milestone in Welsh spa tourism, pairing exceptional skincare with the authenticity of local provenance.

The exclusive collection of facials has been co-created by Bryn Tanat’s co-owner and spa manager, Kirsty Martin, in close collaboration with the Wild Beauty team. These treatments use Rhug’s award-winning organic ingredients, which are grown, harvested and formulated on the estate and available only at Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa.

Kirsty said: “Rhug Wild Beauty isn’t just a skincare brand; it’s an extension of the land.

“Their approach aligns beautifully with ours – grounded in integrity, committed to sustainability and focused on delivering real impact for skin and wellbeing. To be able to bring this experience to our spa, so close to where the ingredients are grown, is incredibly special.”

Rhug Estate, situated in the heart of North Wales, has become a destination in its own right, attracting thousands of visitors each year to its award-winning organic farm, farm shop, bistro and wellness-led product ranges.

With its deep respect for the environment, royal warrant and increasing recognition in both food and beauty, Rhug is flying the flag for organic Welsh excellence on a global stage.

This partnership strengthens the regional story of sustainable luxury, adding to the growing profile of Bryn Tanat Hall, which was recently named ‘Best Self-Catering Accommodation in Mid Wales’ and a finalist in the 2025 Visit Wales National Tourism Awards.

Bryn Tanat Hall is a five-star countryside escape on the Powys–Shropshire border, offering a collection of beautiful self-catering properties. From the historic hall that sleeps up to 28 guests – perfect for family stays, weddings or group celebrations – to luxury lodges and a contemporary eco-cabin, it’s a setting designed for both relaxation and reconnection.

The spa, which welcomes both residents and non-residents for spa days, signature treatments and stays, is already a thriving hub for the local community. Its treatment offering spans from beauty essentials to massage and advanced skincare, while its fitness memberships form a key part of its growing wellness offering.

The new Wild Beauty treatments are available to book. To explore the brands and view the new treatment menu, visit the Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa website.
