RADNOR HILLS, the leading soft drinks manufacturer based in Knighton, Powys, has recently launched two of its popular brands, Radnor Splash and Radnor Fizz, in Tesco stores across the country. This move makes the products easily accessible to customers, as they can now be purchased both online and in over 450 Tesco stores.
Radnor Fizz, which is a carbonated range of school-approved drinks and counts as one of your five-a-day portions of fruits and vegetables, has quickly become the number one choice for students. This multipack comes in three refreshing flavours: Apple, Tropical, and Forest Fruits. Furthermore, the packaging of Radnor Fizz is environmentally friendly, with its 100% recyclable bottle made from 30% recycled material. Currently priced at £2 for a pack of four 330ml bottles, Tesco Clubcard holders can take advantage of a promotional offer, reducing the price to £1.70.
In addition to Radnor Fizz, Radnor Splash has also made its way onto Tesco’s shelves. Specifically designed for lunchboxes, Radnor Splash offers a bold and punchy taste with all-natural flavourings. It has become the fastest growing flavoured water in the UK and is available in two flavours: Apple & Raspberry and Orange & Passion Fruit. Packaged in convenient Tetra Pak cartons, each containing three 250ml packs, Radnor Splash is priced at £1 in Tesco stores.
Chris Butler, the Marketing Manager for Radnor Hills, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Tesco, stating, “We are really excited to have Tesco on board in our journey to bring the best school drinks to homes and lunchboxes across the UK.”
Radnor Hills, a family-run and sustainably focused independent soft drinks manufacturer, has been producing high-quality beverages for over 30 years. The company takes pride in using exceptionally pure and well-balanced spring water sourced from its boreholes for all its products. Apart from Radnor Splash and Radnor Fizz, Radnor’s portfolio includes Radnor Water, Heartsease Farm, and Radnor Fruits. With over 12 products sold every second in the UK, totalling more than 400 million drinks annually, Radnor has become a household name. Notably, the company sells over 60 million Radnor drinks in schools nationwide.
Environmental sustainability is a core value for Radnor Hills, as it operates as a zero to landfill site. By the end of 2023, the company aims to power 21% of its factory using solar energy. Radnor’s commitment to the environment is further evidenced by its ISO 14001 certification, highlighting its adherence to an environmental management system.
An interesting fact about Radnor Hills is that it is the only drinks manufacturer in the UK that produces beverages on-site in all four packaging formats: glass, can, PET plastic, and Tetra Pak.
