Windsor Farm Pumpkin Patch raises £1,500 for Special Care Baby Unit

The Special Care Baby Unit in Glangwili Hospital has received a fantastic donation of £1,500. That’s thanks to Andrew and Jane Phillips who run the Windsor Farm Pumpkin Patch in Pembrokeshire.

The couple raised the funds last October from the sales of pumpkins. Andrew and Jane decided to donate to the Special Care Baby Unit after their son Eddie was born over 10 weeks premature at Glangwili Hospital in May 2018.

Jane said: “We have been forever grateful to the team at Glangwili Special Care Baby Unit for all the care and help we received and have made a donation to show our appreciation.”

Claire Rumble, Fundraising Officer for Hywel Dda Health Charities, said: “We would like to say a really big thank you to Andrew and Jane for the donation to the Special Care Baby Unit.

“The donation will help us provide equipment and additional services for the babies and their families that come through the centre.”
