Haines denies murdering Lily Sullivan but admits manslaughter

A PEMBROKE man accused of murdering 18-year-old Lily Sullivan in December of last year, has entered a plea at Swansea Crown Court this morning (May 16).

Lewis Haines, 31, of Flemish Court, Lamphey, was arrested for murder on December 17, after police discovered the victim’s body at the Mill Pond, Pembroke.

Haines entered a not-guilty plea to murder but admits to a charge of manslaughter.

A trial date has been set for June 20.
