Digital Kylie to appear in new Hit Factory musical at Wales Millenium Centre

WALES Millennium Centre is set to host a sensational new musical featuring the digital presence of none other than the iconic pop star Kylie Minogue. “I Should Be So Lucky: The Stock Aitken Waterman Musical” will showcase the best hits from the legendary British music production trio, and it promises to be an unforgettable experience for audiences. The musical will run from November 27th to December 2nd as part of its UK tour, and tickets are now available for purchase.

Kylie Minogue, who will digitally appear throughout the show as a specially created character unique to the musical, expressed her excitement about the project. Joining the digital Kylie Minogue, the on-stage cast includes talented performers who will bring the story to life. Kayla Carter, known for her roles in “The Color Purple” and “Bedknobs and Broomsticks,” will play Bonnie, while Jamie Chapman, recognized for his performances in “Nativity! The Musical” and “The Mousetrap,” will take on the role of Spencer. Jemma Churchill, who has appeared in productions such as “Guys and Dolls” and “Nativity! The Musical,” will portray Ivy. Other notable cast members include Matthew Croke as Nadeem, Jessica Daley as Britney, and Gary Davis as Big Mike.

Adding to the star-studded lineup, Melissa Jacques, Scott Paige, Billy Roberts, Giovanni Spanò, Lucie-Mae Sumner, and Anna Unwin will also join the cast, showcasing their exceptional talent in this musical extravaganza.

However, their plans take an unexpected turn, raising doubts about their future together. The audience will be taken on a journey from the aisle to the isles, with the official Stock Aitken Waterman musical featuring an unforgettable soundtrack that includes hits from pop icons like Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, and Bananarama.

“I Should Be So Lucky: The Stock Aitken Waterman Musical” is written and directed by Debbie Isitt, the creative mind behind the hit “NATIVITY!” franchise. Jason Gilkison, the esteemed Creative Director of “Strictly Come Dancing,” is responsible for the choreography. The musical also boasts the talents of George Dyer for orchestrations and musical direction, Tom Rogers for set and costume design, Howard Hudson for lighting design, Ben Harrison for sound design, Anne Vosser for casting, and Simon Marlow for production management. The production is a collaboration between Ambassador Theatre Group Productions and Gavin Kalin Productions.
