In a first-of-its-kind listing, the only UK distillery housed within a castle, Hensol Castle Distillery, is introducing a novel addition to its gin collection exclusively at Tesco supermarkets. The enticing Hensol Castle Black Gin will soon be accompanied by the Hensol Castle Welsh Dry Gin and the freshly unveiled Judge Jenkins rum range.
Housed within the cavernous cellars of the Grade-I listed Hensol Castle, the distillery has been crafting its distinguished gin since late 2021. Previously, the gin collection comprised three award-winning gems: the Welsh Dry Gin (41% ABV), the vibrant Blood Orange Zest Gin (40% ABV), and the Wild Strawberry & Hibiscus Gin (40% ABV).
The new Black Gin is a tantalising fusion, infused with select black Muscat grapes plucked from the castle’s encircled garden and masterfully blended with black cherries and blackberries. This exquisite concoction will be an exclusive Tesco offering for a limited period, thereafter making its debut in other retail giants.
In a promotional offer running until Monday, 18th September, gin enthusiasts can avail the Hensol Castle Black and classic Dry Gin at a special rate of £22 per 70cl bottle, exclusively for Tesco Clubcard holders.
Diversifying its spirit portfolio, the distillery is also introducing its inaugural rum range named Judge Jenkins. Tesco patrons can explore two enticing flavours: the Spiced Rum (40% ABV) and the luscious Maraschino Cherry Spiced Rum (37.5% ABV).
