A MURDER investigation is underway following the discovery of a woman’s body in a residential property on Caerphilly Road, Cardiff. The grim find was made in the early hours of Tuesday morning, prompting a swift response from South Wales Police.
According to a statement from the police, they received a call at approximately 12:30 AM, leading officers to the property where the body of a 45-year-old woman was found. Authorities have since confirmed that a murder investigation is now in progress.
The area surrounding the property has been cordoned off, with a significant police presence maintaining the crime scene. The property is located close to an Aldi supermarket, adding to the visibility of the incident in the local community. Investigations are ongoing, with forensic teams combing the area for evidence.

It’s upsetting.” Another neighbor, Susan Morgan, described being woken by flashing lights, initially believing it to be a minor traffic accident. “It’s awful. I don’t think any of us can believe what happened,” she added.
