A GROUP of Pembrokeshire cyclists are currently taking on the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge in order to raise funds for Pembroke Dock ABC.

On Saturday, June 25, six people, who belong to the Pembrokeshire Velo Cycling Club, will be walking the highest peaks in Wales, Pen y fan, Snowdon and Caer Idris.

And if that wasn’t hard enough the group will be cycling between the peaks and aim to have finished their mammoth journey in 18 hours.

The money raised will go to Pembroke and Pembroke Dock ABC Great Britain Disability Boxing who put on a FREE Inclusive Boxing club for children and adults with disabilities and adaptive needs.

It will help the club to buy specialist equipment which will enable them to carry out their sessions.

50% of donations will also go to Dementia UK, a national charity that aims to improve the quality of life for people with dementia.

Anyone wishing to donate can do so by going to the link to their crowdfunding page https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sd-newbery-1?utm_id=107&utm_term=w56eGgaBq&fbclid=IwAR0JxRtKx97Wx9WBJOWrnKVmISmr13nKcBpecRFfSOvowo2CQ9m6GgZj8hg&fs=e&s=cl
