WHITLAND booked their place in the semi finals of the Alec Colley Cup as they beat Lawrenny by 29 runs on Tuesday (Jul 5).
Whitland made a good score of 171-7 from their 20 overs with Nathan Evans top scoring on 46.
Kevin Pearce added 32 and Harry Fuller added 25.
Rhys Eynon took 3-73 and Simon Cole finished with figures of 3-34. Oscar Lewis also finished with 1-25.
In reply, Steve Campbell scored 45 and Jonathan Beff added 40 but Lawrenny were unable to reach their target.

Nathan Evans bowled well to finish with figures of 3-40 while Gethin Benjamin (1-28) and Andrew Edwards (1-29) also chipped in with a wicket each.
Lawrenny finished short on 142-6 as Whitland secured their place in the last four.
They will play the winners of the game between Carew and St Ishmaels who play their game tonight, Wednesday, July 6.
