AS POLICE continue to appeal for information on a man who has been reported missing, that was last seen in Tenby on Saturday night, the RNLI have confirmed that they are involved with the search.

Both of Tenby’s lifeboats were launched on Sunday night to assist.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information to find 21-year-old Billy Miller from Fishguard .

Billy was last seen in the vicinity of Warren Street, Tenby at approximately 11.30 pm, on Saturday, June 20.

He is described as a white male, approx. 5ft 8 inches tall and of a slim build with short back and sides brown hair.

He was last seen wearing blue tight fitting ripped jeans, an oversized grey sweatshirt and a navy blue baseball cap with a red logo.

Tenby’s RNLI inshore lifeboat Georgina Taylor was launched at 8.45 pm, followed a short time later at 9.15 pm by the all-weather lifeboat after a report of a possible missing person in Tenby’s North Bay.

The inshore lifeboat was initially tasked to search from the harbour, around to Castle Beach, whilst Tenby and St Govans Coastguard Rescue Teams, along with the police, searched the shoreline and cliffs above.

Once on the water, the Haydn Miller was tasked to perform a shoreline search from the harbour, up towards Wiseman’s Bridge and was soon joined by the Georgina Taylor, which searched all the coves and beaches the larger lifeboat was unable to get to.

With the search area exhausted and with nothing found, both boats were stood down and returned to station, arriving at 10.35 pm.
