Drop-in session on Milford sixth form proposals

A PUBLIC drop-in session is to be held at the Torch Theatre on Tuesday between 10.30am and 6.30pm (March 10) as part of a consultation on future proposals for Sixth Form provision at Milford Haven School.

The session is open between 10.30am and 6.30pm and is an opportunity for parents, pupils and members of the wider school community to learn more about the proposals and give their feedback.

The consultation was launched in February and ends at 5pm on Friday, March 20

It is being carried out by Pembrokeshire County Council in response to a request from the governing body of Milford Haven School, which in a letter to Council, outlined a number of factors that had led to its decision.

The online consultation document offers an opportunity for consultees to put forward any comments, observations or alternative proposals they wish to be considered, as well as explaining why other options considered are not the preferred option.

Pembrokeshire County Council has a statutory duty to secure sufficient and suitable school places in its area and to determine whether it is making the best use of the resources and facilities to deliver the opportunities that children deserve.
The consultation is also available online at www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay
