Emergency services called to Greenhill School following ‘pupil on roof’ incident

EMERGENCY SERVICES were called to Greenhill School in Tenby this afternoon (Feb 6) after a ‘lunchtime incident’.

The school has said that Dyfed-Powys Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended the school.

No pupils or staff were injured, said the Headmaster, and lessons have continued as normal.

Pembrokeshire County Council spokesman Len Mullins told The Pembrokeshire Herald: “I can confirm that the police and the fire service attended Greenhill this afternoon following reports that a pupil was on the roof. I understand that the situation was resolved with no injury to the pupil.”

Headmaster Ray McGovern said on the school’s Facebook page: “There was an incident at lunchtime today which required police and fire tender’s attendance.

“The incident has now been brought to an end. All pupils and staff are safe and lessons are continuing as normal.”
