THE WAS a large police presence at City Road Cemetery in Haverfordwest on Thursday afternoon (Apr 11).
Police vehicles, and a private ambulance were at the scene from around 1pm
A resident living nearby told The Herald: “I’ve never seen so many police, obviously being concerned as to what was happening I asked and was told that a man had been found to have died in the cemetery grounds.”
Police have now left the scene.
At 5pm, Dyfed-Powys Police released a statement saying: “Sadly, we can confirm a body has been found during the search for missing Jonathan Wheelhouse, from Haverfordwest. Formal identification has not taken place but Jonathan’s next of kin has been made aware of the development. Our thoughts are with his family.”
