Haverfordwest: Man on bail for alleged terrorism offences re-arrested

HAVING been charged with multiple counts of owning information which could help prepare an act of terrorism, a man was arrested in Haverfordwest for allegedly breaching his bail conditions.

Abdul Hussain, aged 41, of no fixed abode, was brought before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Friday, April 26.

Hussain had been bailed to live and sleep at an address in Torquay but was allegedly found to be residing in Pembrokeshire.

He faces three charges of possessing a “document containing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.”

Those offences are alleged to have taken place on August 17, 2018, but it is currently unknown where he allegedly committed them.

After appearing at the Magistrates Court on Friday, Hussain appeared via a video link at the Old Bailey on Monday, April 29.

Hussain was remanded into custody until his next appearance before the Central Criminal Court on Wednesday, August 21.
