Milford Haven: Chainsaw raid on suspected drug dealers, three arrested

THE ONGOING battle between police and drug dealers in Milford Haven continued this week with police arresting three people, and questioning another.

On Thursday (Apr 11), officers in Pembrokeshire simultaneously executed five warrants under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Steynton Road and Mount Estate areas of Milford Haven.

Inspector Roger Smith said: “This action was taken in response to concerns raised by the public about the supply of drugs in the Milford Haven area. Of the five warrants, four were positive. A 28 year old man, 55 year old man and a 53 year old man were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug, and have now been released under investigation. A 19 year old woman was also interviewed, and admitted possession of cannabis.

“A quantity of drugs was recovered during the warrants, and a Volkswagen car with no tax or MOT was also seized from outside one of the addresses.

“Officers from across Pembrokeshire worked together in order to execute the warrants. Milford Haven’s local Neighbourhood Policing officers patrolled the area to offer reassurance, and distributed leaflets with information and advice to local residents.”

The police have asked that anyone with information or concerns relating to drug misuse is asked to contact police by calling 101, or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. If you are deaf, hard of hearing or speech impaired text the non-emergency number on 07811 311 908.
