Mount Estate: Armed police taser man following 2am domestic incident

AN DOMESTIC incident involving threats being made led to armed police being deployed at the Mount Estate in Milford Haven in the early hours of the morning.

A man was tasered, arrested, and taken to hospital as a precaution at the Ash Grove disturbance.

A woman were arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police told The Pembrokeshire Herald: “We attended shortly after 2am today (Jun 5) following reports of a domestic incident.

“Firearms officers attended the scene as threats had been made, and information suggested the parties involved were in possession of a knife.

“Upon police attendance at the property, a man was aggressive to officers. He was tasered and subsequently arrested on suspicion of breach of the peace. He was taken to hospital as a precaution and was not injured. A woman was also arrested, on suspicion of threatening behaviour.

“Following the arrests, officers commenced a search for a third person, who they believed was injured. He was found at a property at Chestnut Way at around 5am with minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of a knife, and taken to hospital. The three arrested people are in police custody.

“Officers will be in the area carrying out house-to-house enquiries and reassurance patrols today.

“Anyone with information is asked to either report it to an officer, or to call 101. Alternatively, make an anonymous report to the independent charity Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111.”
