THE GOVERNING body of the school has proposed to close the school from the end of the current spring term.
Pembrokeshire County Council has agreed to assist the governing body in the necessary process, and carried out statutory consultation in accordance with regulations in October and November 2018.
The governing body subsequently considered the consultation responses at an extraordinary meeting on 18th December, and following consideration of the Consultation Report, it resolved to proceed to the next stage of the statutory process, i.e. to publish a statutory notice.
A statutory notice was published on 8th January 2019 and this gave formal notice of the governing body’s intention to close the school with effect from 26th April 2019.
Any objections to the proposal should be made to the Director for Children and Schools of Pembrokeshire County Council by 5th February 2019.
