Pennar: Police seal off roads following Gay’s Lane incident

POLICE rushed to an address in Gay’s Lane Pennar on Saturday night just after 11pm.

Several police cars including armed police, and ambulance and other vehicles were at the scene and for a few hours Military Road and Gay’s Lane had been sealed off by officers.

The police have not yet revealed the nature of the incident, and have been asked for a comment.

Resident Lianne Furlong told The Pembrokeshire Herald: “I first looked out the door at 23.07pm and all the police cars were already in attendance with traffic backing up the street, [cars] were turned around by police.

“The incident was on Gay’s Lane so there was a cordon from St Patrick’s church to the Oak Road junction and both ends of Gays Lane, but now it’s just Gay’s Lane that is cordoned off.”
