A PENSIONER from Haverfordwest appeared before the town’s magistrates on Wednesday (Jan 23) to face a charge of sexual assault.
John Robert Hancox, aged 66 of Hanover Court, pleaded guilty to intentionally touching a woman in a sexual way that she did not consent to on August 13, 2018.
He also pleaded guilty to masturbating in the presence of police officers whilst in custody at Haverfordwest Police Station on Tuesday (Jan 22), and pleaded guilty to another charge of failing to notify police of his release from Parc Prison within three days of his release on January 19.
Magistrates felt that the case was so serious that they had no option but to decline jurisdiction.
Hancox will appear at Swansea Crown Court for sentencing on February 22 at 10am.
