Petrol station could be demolished to make way for Costa Drive Thru

THE PETROL station at Withybush Retail Park could be demolished to make way for a Costa Coffee drive-thru.

Milford Haven has just seen the opening of its new retail park and Haverfordwest could soon follow suit if the plans are approved by the Council.

The new store would have 29 parking spaces and there would also be an indoor seating area.

The application states that the new store would be a ‘more attractive gateway’ for those entering the Retail Park.

It also states that it would be an ‘important supporting facility’ to visitors.

Costa already has stores in Withybush Hospital and one in the Debenhams store and the new one would be built directly opposite Marks and Spencers which also has its own cafe area.

18 full and part time jobs would be created by the new store which could be open between 5am and 11pm.

The site notice will be up until April 3 and members of the public are invited to give their views on the plans.

All underground fuel infrastructure would have to be removed and a car wash service would also have to be relocated to make way for the new store.
