POLICE have confirmed that they are in the early stages of an investigation into the death of a male in a Saundersfoot alleyway.
The man was pronounced dead by paramedics on Thursday evening (Dec 31) just off Brewery Terrace.
The alleyway is cordoned off by police from the Delight Pizza and Kebab House onwards, with a large number of police and emergency vehicles present.
There is a large police presence in Saundersfoot as the investigation gets underway.
A spokesperson told The Pembrokeshire Herald: “An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Saundersfoot this evening. Police were called to an alleyway off Brewery Terrace at around 18:00 HRS, where sadly a man was pronounced dead by the ambulance service.”
