Police strike a warning at Canaston Bowl

IT HAS been reported by Tenby policing units that despite the coronavirus regulations which still, do not permit non-essential travel, members of the public continue to attend Canaston Bowls.

Dyfed Powys Police would like to remind the general public that regular patrols are routinely being carried out by police and security units.

Anyone found to be breaching the COVID-19 restrictions for Wales, will be issued with COVID19 tickets and if criminal offences have been identified, they will also be appropriately dealt with.

In the comment section from their online statement, a member of the public questioned DPP:

“What is at Canaston Bowl, we thought it was shut”

Dyfed Powys Police replied:

“It’s derelict and very dangerous due to it’s poor state of repair”.
