Purple tribute at County Hall

County Hall in Haverfordwest was illuminated in a purple glow last
night (Tuesday, 9 th June) night as a symbol of support with the Black
Lives Matter campaign.

The tribute was Pembrokeshire County Council’s gesture in memory
of George Floyd and in solidarity with the protests his death sparked
around the world.

Purple is the colour synonymous with the struggle against
oppression.”

Similar tributes have been organised by local authorities in England
and Wales for their offices.
