Report details work of Learning Disability Partnership Board

PEMBROKESHIRE’S Learning Disability Partnership Board is pleased to issue its annual report up to March 2020.

This report sets out the work that members of the partnership board have been doing towards meeting the recommendations of the Pembrokeshire Learning Disability Strategy 2017 -2022.

The Strategy details how Pembrokeshire County Council and Hywel Dda University Health Board will deliver services to change and improve the quality of life for people with learning disabilities.

Progress has been made in meeting some of the recommendations particularly in areas of communication, voice and choice, community engagement and employment.

Thanks go to everyone who has contributed to this and made the progress to date possible.

Work is ongoing to meet the remaining recommendations over the next two years.

The annual report has been put together by Learning Disability Champions Rachel Bailey and James Dash.

A huge thank you goes to them for the hard work in pulling the report together.

The report will be available at http://www.accesspembrokeshire.co.uk/
