Rubbish situation for Dock residents following fly-tipping incidents

PEMBROKESHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL is appealing for information after a series of fly-tipping incidents in Pembroke Dock.

Residents living in Commercial Row are opening their front doors to find bags of rubbish deposited on their doorsteps.

It is thought the rubbish is being left by people who live elsewhere in the town.

Enquiries are being conducted into CCTV images to identify those responsible.

Members of the public are reminded that depositing waste in such a way is an offence and punishable by a fine.

In an effort to combat the dumping of rubbish, Pembrokeshire County Council recently launched a scheme to encourage people to come forward with information about those who commit fly-tipping.

There is a £100 reward for Information leading to successful enforcement action.

A dedicated email address has been set up by the Council to enable members of the public to reports incidents of fly tipping 24 hours a day.

The email address is: [email protected]

A phone number is also available to ring during office hours.
