Second confirmed case of Covid-19 at Ysgol Greenhill in Tenby

THIS afternoon (Oct 6), Ysgol Greenhill School in Tenby has conformed that there has been a second positive coronavirus case ‘relating to an individual’ at the school.
In a letter to staff and pupils at the school, Ysgol Greenhill have said: “Following guidelines, individuals identified as being in ‘close contact’ (as defined by Public Health Wales – Trace, Track and Protect) have been directed to self-isolate for 14 days, Parents of all those concerned have been contacted.”
No major changes have been announced with regards to the second positive Covid case at the school but parents/guardians have been told that they “do not need to contact the school to find if their child has been affected.”
Ysgol Greenhill have said they are again as routine, working with Pembrokeshire County Council, Public Health Wales and Hywel Dda University Health Board to ensure all precautionary measures are in place to minimise further risks.
