The Haverfordwest Farmers’ Market is back

THE POPULAR Haverfordwest Farmers Market re-opened on Friday (Jul 10) with local traders offering a wide range of fresh produce.

With safety measures in place and observed, traders on Castle Square enjoyed brisk business after a break of several weeks due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

“It was great to welcome everyone back” said Joe Welch, market manager and food officer for Pembrokeshire County Council.

She added: “Customer feedback has been fantastic with lovely comments such as ‘great to see the market return with more traders’; ‘such a lovely buzz’ and ‘thanks for continuing to supply great local produce throughout the pandemic, via the online hub and through market stalls’.”

The Haverfordwest Farmers Market will be held at Castle Square every Friday between 9 am and 2 pm.
