THE TORCH THEATRE’S Sunset Cinema returns to Milford Waterfront this Friday evening with Top Gun.
Starring Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer, Kelly McGillis and Tim Robbins, the 1986 fighter pilot, adrenaline pumping, blockbuster movie will be shown on the big screen in the great outdoors down on Mackerel Quay in Milford Waterfront.
The Top Gun Naval Fighter Weapons School is where the best of the best train to refine their elite flying skills. When hotshot fighter pilot Maverick (Tom Cruise) is sent to the school, his reckless attitude and cocky demeanour put him at odds with the other pilots, especially the cool and collected Iceman (Val Kilmer). But Maverick isn’t only competing to be the top fighter pilot, he’s also fighting for the attention of his beautiful flight instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis).
With it’s high flying action sequences and ariel stunts, mixed in with a big 80’s soundtrack including Take My Breath Away and Danger Zone, Top Gun will be making you ‘Feel the need for Speed’ this Friday night.
Sunset Cinema presents Top Gun at Milford Waterfront on Friday 31 May. Gates open at 7pm and the film starts when light levels allow. Tickets cost £8.50 in advance & £10 on the gate on the evening of screening.
