Volunteers at Cardigan Internet Radio appeal for help following ‘shop attack’

CARDIGAN INTERNET RADIO is appealing for help after a brick was thrown through it’s front window on the evening of Wednesday the 30th of March 2022.

Dyfed-Powys Police have been informed, the Herald understands.

Director of Cardigan Internet Radio, Bobby Kelly, said “We’ve worked so hard to get to this point and were already working on a shoe string budget, we’re a not for profit, so even paying excess on an insurance claim and the likely increase in insurance costs is a threat to us, there is still so much else to do and we’re also going to need to install CCTV now. We where just about to have the shop front done up
with our logo – this is going to be tough to ride out.”

The fledging radio station moved into 2 Pwllhai, Cardigan, about six months ago and webcasts it’s schedule 24 hours a day from it’s studio on the top floor of 2 Pwllhai.

Cardigan Internet Radio has recently seen a surge in members following a lifting of government restrictions.
