A WOMAN who was involved in a two-car crash between Abergwili and Nantgaredig on Friday (Jan 6) has suffered potentially life-changing injuries.
In total, three people were hospitalised as a result of the crash, which lead to that stretch of the A40 being closed for around six hours.
All three people involved in the crash remain in hospital.
A Wales Air Ambulance transported the woman to Morriston Hospital in Swansea, and a man and a young boy were transported to Glangwili hospital.
The injuries sustained by the man and boy are not life-threatening, the Herald understands.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: “All three people remain in hospital and are stable.
“The female driver has possible life-changing injuries.”
