New Sushi take-away planned for Llandudno

PLANS have been revealed for a new sushi take-away in Llandudno.

Edvard Ivanian has applied to Conwy County Council, seeking planning permission for the Japanese style take-away at 57b on Mostyn Avenue, Craig y Don.

The building was previously used as a tattoo parlour.

There is no parking provision included in the planning application, but the sushi takeaway will create two full-time jobs and three part-time positions if granted.

The takeaway would be open 4 pm to 9 pm Monday to Friday and 1 pm to 10 pm on Saturdays.

Sunday and bank holiday opening hours would be 1 pm until 9 pm.

Resident H. Sanford wrote to Conwy County Council in support of the application.

He said, “I think it’s a great idea and will help keep Craig y Don looking lovely, not empty shops. I’m all for it.”

The planning application will likely be debated at a future Conwy County Council planning committee meeting at Bodlondeb.
