Sam Rowlands MS is urging people to share their views on public transport in North Wales

SAM ROWLANDS, Member of the Welsh Parliament for North Wales, is asking his constituents to take part in his online North Wales Transport Survey.

Mr Rowlands said: “I am asking people in North Wales to let me know what they think about public transport in my region by visiting my website and completing my online survey as I think it is very important to hear what they have to say.

“Every day thousands of people across North Wales use buses, trains and taxis.  Whether it’s commuting to work, getting to school, going to the shops or seeing family and friends – public transport is an essential part of daily life.

“The Welsh Labour Government continues to bury its head in the sand when it comes to new road building, improving train services and public transport in North Wales and I want to hear from the people who suffer because of this lack of foresight and investment.

“I am also asking for their comments about how the ridiculous 20mph default speed limit has impacted on their local transport services and what they would do to improve the situation.

“The feedback will be extremely useful going forward in the future and I urge anyone who has any comments, to make sure they complete the questionnaire.”

Mr Rowland’s survey includes questions about what type of public transport people use and how satisfied they are with rail and bus services in North Wales.

There is also a section for comments asking the public what they would do to improve public transport and questions about which Government is responsible for delivering the different services.

The survey is live on the website until the end of August and can be accessed by going to: https://www.samrowlands.org.uk/north-wales-transport-survey
