Denbigh & District Amateur Boxing Club has entered five talented boxers into the highly regarded Welsh Boxing Novice Championships 2024.
The preliminary rounds and quarter-finals, held at the Plas Madoc Leisure Centre in Acrefair, Wrexham, witnessed a display of skill and determination from the club’s talented athletes.
The weekend’s events unfolded with enthusiasts and supporters eagerly gathered to witness the action-packed bouts.
The boxers from Denbigh & District ABC displayed tenacity and skill throughout their matches.
Harri Watkin Jones, along with Harry Windsor and brothers Tomos Evans and Seth Evans, all showcased their ability in the ring, advancing to the semi-finals set to take place in Ebbw Vale, South Wales, next weekend.
Scott O’Shaughnessy secured a direct route to the semi-finals when his opponents pulled out of the competition.
The club’s success at the championships is a testament to the rigorous training and dedication of its athletes, who have tirelessly honed their craft in preparation for this national event.
Each boxer exhibited exemplary technique and determination, captivating the audience with their impressive performances.
