The Plaid Cymru Senedd member, who also received selected verses from the Qur’an that have been translated into the Welsh language, described the exhibition as a “fascinating and enriching experience”.

Llŷr Gruffydd MS said: “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Wales recently.

“The Holy Quran Exhibition held at the Senedd was a fascinating and enriching experience.

“It was an opportunity to find out more about Islam’s Holy Book through exhibits and a very informative question and answer session.

“They had copies of the Qur’an in 21 different languages on display, including selected verses in Welsh.

“I feel honoured to have received a copy of the Qur’an and a copy of selected verses in the Welsh language.”
