The council and Awen Libraries have been working together to make tablets available as part of a loan scheme for all library members.
The tablets are available for up to 3 weeks at a time and come equipped with a data filled SIM card which can connect to the internet even if people don’t have WIFI at their own homes.
Many useful apps are already downloaded on the tablets including:
- eBooks and eAudiobooks
- eMagazines
- Awen Libraries website
- Bridgend County Borough Council’s website
Anyone interested in borrowing a tablet should contact Awen on 01656 754840 or email [email protected] . Alternatively, individuals can visit their local library and staff will be happy to assist.
