RESULTS from elections for the police and crime commissioner roles in Wales have been announced.
The votes for Bridgend County Borough were as follows:
Emma Wools (Labour) – 7,375
George Caroll (Conservative) – 4,758
Dennis Clarke (Plaid Cymru) – 2,453
Sam Bennett (Welsh Liberal Democrats) – 1,483
With a total of 16,272 votes cast out of a total electorate of 111,894, voter turnout was 14.5 per cent.
