Local Cardiff insurer and Children’s Hospital Charity feature in new film

THE VALUABLE work of local charity Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity has been showcased in a newly released film by leading rural insurer NFU Mutual.

The video follows the charity’s nomination by NFU Mutual’s Llandelio, Usk and Tregaron agencies to receive a donation of £9,568 via the NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund.

As part of NFU Mutual’s commitment to deliver £3.25m of funding for local and national charities in 2022, the insurer donated £1.92m to over 380 local charities through its Agency Giving Fund.

In recognition of 100% of the fund being distributed to local organisations and groups, a short film has been produced to showcase and celebrate the impact the donations have made to local frontline charities across the United Kingdom (UK) and features the Tregaron agency and Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity.

To ensure the donations reached all corners of the UK and were directed where they’re needed most, NFU Mutual’s agencies and branches, with more than 295 locations nationwide, were given the opportunity to nominate local charities to receive a share of the fund.

Jeremy Tancock, Agent at NFU Mutual in Usk, said: “Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital Charity makes an incredible impact on people’s lives right across Wales. We are extremely proud to have nominated them to receive a portion of the NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund. Our donation will help the team continue their vital work improving treatments for children, making their days in hospital less daunting and offering support to them and their families in difficult times.”

Beth Pritchard, Community Engagement Consultant at NFU Mutual, added: “Each year the Agency Giving Fund helps support local charities and Agents provide nominations to help NFU Mutual to direct that funding to where it matters most. We understand these are challenging times for many people, so it’s vital that we continue to support organisations and groups that play an important role in communities across the UK.”
