PLANNERS have confirmed a house in Abergavenny can be used as a care home for up to four children.
Cwtch Investments Ltd asked Monmouthshire County Council to issue a certificate stating the use of the house in Hereford Road is lawful.
It will be used for up to six people and will be a home for four children aged 13 to 19 and will be staffed.
The council planning department confirmed residential planning permission has a sub-class for up to six people living together in supported housing schemes and that changes within the planning class don’t require planning permission so the certificate can be issued.
